Jennifer Havens opens Wines by Jennifer®, 405 Main St., in Parkville on Tuesday. The wine bar/retail space is housed in a three-story, turn-of-the-century home in historic downtown Parkville.

More than 350 different wines from around the world will be sold. In addition, Havens will stock a wide selection of imported cheeses, olives, olive oils, Le Monde bakery products, fruits and prepared foods.

In her tasting room, customers can sample nine wines (and take home the wine glass) for a $10 fee. Sippers also can purchase a flight of four wines, also for $10. Tasting and flight selections will change weekly. Havens will have Wine Club memberships, a newsletter and group excursions to wine country destinations.

Seating is available throughout the space, including outdoor seating on the front porch and on two decks. The lower level, with additional seating, will be an artist's gallery.
